An Experience in the Footsteps of Memories and Melodies
"שְׁתַלְתֶּם נִגּוּנִים בִּי, אִמִּי וְאָבִי, נִגּוּנִים מִזְמוֹרִים שְׁכוּחִים"“You planted melodies within me, my Mother and Father, melodies and forgotten psalms".
With these words the poet Fania Bergstein describes a world that has vanished, but has still left us with its imprint.
In this journey we will confront the world via melodies, songs and stories that reflect upon the past. Via words and music, we will study the Jewish community that was, analyze its character, and remember the life that was, is no more, but still lives within us.
